📸 What to Expect: Your Portrait Session

 

🗓️ Step 1: Booking & Planning

• The Consultation: Once you submit an inquiry form, we will hop on a quick call or email thread to discuss your vision, outfit ideas, and the overall vibe of your portraits.
• Securing Your Date: To officially lock in your date on my calendar, I will send you a secure Pixieset link to sign your portrait contract and pay a 50% non-refundable retainer fee online.

 

📍 Step 2: Location & Travel

• Choosing the Spot: As a fully mobile photographer, I come to you! We can shoot at your home, a favorite public park, or a local beach here in the New Hanover County area.
• Permits & Fees: If you choose a location that requires a commercial photography entry fee or permit (like certain historic gardens or private venues), that cost will be added to your initial package invoice.
• The Weather Policy: Portrait photography relies on beautiful light. If heavy rain, extreme winds, or storms are forecast for our outdoor session, I will make the final call to reschedule us to our pre-planned backup date at least 3 hours before the shoot.

 

⏱️ Step 3: Session Day

• Arrival: We will meet directly at our chosen location. Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can stretch, adjust outfits, and maximize our shooting time.
• Posing Guidance: Don't worry about knowing how to pose! I will fully guide you through natural movements, candid interactions, and classic portrait setups to make sure you look natural and relaxed.

 

💻 Step 4: Image Delivery

• The Proofing Gallery: Within 10 days of our session, you will receive a link to a private, watermarked proofing gallery to view the best unedited images from our day.
• Final Editing: Once you select your favorite images included in your package, I will spend 2 weeks professionally color-correcting, retouching, and polishing your final portraits.
• Digital Download: Your final high-resolution, unwatermarked digital images will be delivered via a beautiful Pixieset online gallery. From there, you can download them directly to your device or order high-quality professional prints with a single click
